I scrapped Austere3D around April 2008 and rewrote it under DirectX 10. Within about three weeks I had it to roughly the same stage.

Austere3D is my first 3D engine and originally started out as an indoors-only engine, but recently I have branched out into terrain rendering.
It is being developed with Visual Basic 2008 Express and Managed DirectX.
